Our exciting events and competitions
To maintain your B category firearms license, you need to complete 12 competition shoots or registered days annually. The Ashburton Pistol Club plans and hosts numerous events to help you achieve this. These events are a lot of fun, offering opportunities to meet many other shooters from around New Zealand and, in many cases, from overseas. You can also visit other clubs when they host their events.
Achievements and stories from our members
We have shooters from our club who have competed in the Commonwealth and Olympic Games and other large events around the world. Our accomplished members have performed exceptionally well on these trips, and of course, they have some great stories to tell.
